A Portsmouth mother is now $21,575 richer after winning the Lottery Powerball Games.

Eleanor Edwards, a mother of four, is the second grand prize winner for 2012.

“Keep playing because you never know it is your turn to win … remember you’ve got to be in it to win,” an elated Edwards told the media.

The Dominica National Lottery in collaboration with Fine Foods Incorporated also launched a Christmas Daily 3 promotion.

Each buyer who spends over $9 on daily 3 tickets receive a free letter.

The promotion runs until the 31st of December 2012 and every buyer who’s able to form the words HAM, RUM or CASH with the letters which they acquire, will win a prize.

Winners will receive a free bottle of rum or a cash prize.
